Thursday Oct 31, 2019
Thursday Oct 31, 2019
Halloween is, of course, the season for ghost stories and tales of spine-tingling encounters with the unknown. In this special edition of Talking Tudors, Natalie Grueninger begins by recounting a strange experience which she had during a holiday in Dover. She then chats to author Sandra Vasoli about something eerie that happened to her during a three-night stay at Thornbury Castle. Natalie also speaks with Adrienne Dillard about how an evening of fun and frivolity with family and friends at Hever Castle, ended with something very strange caught on camera.

Revisiting this podcast in anticipation of my stay at Thornbury Castle August 2021😬

I really enjoyed this podcast and the spooky tales, thanks Natalie. Hever Castle is one of my favourite places, I’ve been lucky enough to visit many times and also stayed a night for my birthday 3 years ago, nothing spooky happened but it was very atmospheric walking around the castle on a cold frosty starry night in November! My maternal family (going back hundreds of years) come from this area and I was a bridesmaid in the church when I was very young, although I live about 40 miles away now I always feel a strong connection to this area.
